Breast Procedures

Our surgeons perform a range of breast surgeries, from augmentation (enlargement) and lifts to reductions (mammoplasty) for women with large breasts and men with gynaecomastia

They also specialise in the complex area of breast reconstruction following a mastectomy and are highly knowledgeable in the variety of techniques that can be involved in this. Each of these procedures can enhance self-esteem, silhouette and proportion, and, particularly in the case of breast reconstruction, can in many cases improve both physical and mental wellbeing.

Women with small breasts, whose breasts have changed shape over time or have reduced in size after pregnancy may find breast augmentation (enlargement) beneficial.

Following a mastectomy, many women find their wellbeing, both physical and mental, enhanced by breast reconstruction, which can alleviate the sense of being ‘uneven’ that is often felt after the loss of a breast.

Breast Reduction (Mammaplasty) and Lift (Mastopexy) is the surgical reduction of a woman’s breasts, usually to ease the physical discomfort associated with large breasts and to create breasts more in proportion with her body frame.

Male Breast Reduction (Gynaecomastia) is a common condition in which men develop enlarged breast tissue, gynaecomastia can be caused by excess glandular tissue, fat, or both.
